How to get started...
 
 
Option 1
Minimum Cost - 20k and up
1. Figure out what class to race - Sport C, Formula 4 (sst-45), 3 (sst-60), 2 (sst-120), or 1 (Champboat)
2. Buy a new tunnel boat to race - complete with motor, gearcase and props.
3. Get safety equipment - helmet, radios, capsule suit and etc.
4. Hire a crew to help on the weekends - Prep the boat, back the trailer, hold boat on start and work radios.
5. Join a racing club or series - Pay membership dues.
6. Join A.P.B.A. to get racing license - Pay membership dues.
7. Need to get Capsule Training Certificate - Can't race without it.
8. Schedule hotel for race weekend - Show up at event to race.
9. Enter the APBA sanctioned race event - Entry fees paid at registration
10. Meet with referee before race - "Rookie" Orange strip on motor cover and no passing on the inside.
 
Option 2
Weekend Event Cost - Prices Vary
1. Tunnel Vision Racing will provide everything you need - Boat, Safety Equipment, Crew and Memberships.
2. Tunnel Vision Racing will gather all the correct forms, including waivers - You sign the dotted lines.
3. Tunnel Vision Racing will schedule and assist with Capsule Training Certification - Can't race without it.
4. You will need to read the racing rule book and become familiar with the rules - Rule book provided to you.
5. You will need to bring long pants and shoes to race in. - We provide capsule suit, helmet and radios.
6. You will schedule your hotel for the weekend. - We prefer that you stay in our hotel for the weekend.
7. You will meet with the referee before any race to be advised of "Rookie Rules" - No passing on the inside. 
8. You will race in the event - As long as you adhere to all the rules of TVR, APBA and Series promotors.
9. You will have the time of your life - Again, As long as you adhere to all the rules.
10. Deposit required to secure an event and payment in full at the time of signing all forms and waivers.
